Nitong ika-lima (5) ng Abril taong 2024 matagumpay na nilagdaan ang Memorandum of Agreement sa pagitan ng Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography at MBHTE-TESD TAWI-TAWI Provincial Office, na kinakatawanan ng MSU-TCTO, Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali at MBHTE-TESD TAWI-TAWI Provincial Director, Dr. Maryam S. Nuruddin sa Sabdani Bulante Hall Conference Room, MSU-TCTO Sanga-Sanga Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
Ang kolaborasyon ng proyektong ito ay ukol sa “Processing of Halal Seaweed Noodles” na sinimulang iminungkahi ni former SPFIC Manager Ms. Normina A. Abubakar na pinangungunahan ng project leader na Si Assistant Professor, Merilyn Q. Amlani ng Fish Processing Technology Department, kasama si Manager Iannie P. Maribao ng Student Food Processing Innovation Center bilang co-project leader.
Ang proyektong ito ay nakatagdang ipatupad ngayong taon na may layuning magkaroon ng kolaborasyon sa pagsaliksik ukol sa Technology Research on Halal Seaweed Processing na magiging kauna-unahang Kwalipikasyon sa Seaweeds Processing Production NC-II sa probinsya ng Tawi-Tawi.
