In celebration of the World Hijab Day
Last February 1, 2024 with the theme “Veiled in Strength”, Bangsamoro Women all over the BARMM Region proudly wore their pink colored veil as a way of embracing the diversity and honoring the beauty of choices and expressions!
This annual event was spearheaded by the Bangsamoro Women Commission (BWC) in partnership with the BTA Office together with all the Ministries, Agencies and Offices, it aims to raise awareness in the importance of wearing the Hijab and understanding its rich traditions within the Muslim Culture.
