MBHTE-TESD Badja Institute of Islamic Teaching Inc. in Basilan Kicks Off Skills Training
Badja Institute of Islamic Teaching Inc., an Islamic Learning Institution based in Tipo-tipo Basilan, is scheduled to start its maiden implementation of skills training in Bread and Pastry Production NC II and Dressmaking NC II after successfully conducting the Training Induction Program on September 28, 2021 at the BIITI Open Stage.
The TIP for the 50 scholars under the Bangsamoro Scholarship Program for TVET was attended by Barangay Chairman of Barangay Badja, Bhin Dalun, MBHTE-TESD Supervising TESD Specialist Yasher Hayudni representing Provincial Director Muida Hataman, School President Abdulamjid Kawilil, and 1st Lt. Glenn Curry Estrada of the 18th Infantry Battallion, among others.
Brgy Chairmen Bhin Dalun expressed his gratitude to TESDA and MBHTE for the assistance extended to BIITI considering it took them almost 2 years to prepare for the application. On the other hand, the trainees were also excited since they didn’t have to travel to Lamitan just to avail of the Skills training Programs.
BIITI is the first Technical Vocational Institution in Tipo-tipo Municipality and the first Islamic Learning Insitution who have registered with UTPRAS after an orientation was conducted to Madaris group in July last year. The certificate of Progam Registration for BIITI was issued April this year.
