Provincial Director Aleida Nameerah Mangata and her team paid a courtesy visit to Provincial Director Mohammad Aquil Alonto Mamainte of MTIT to discuss details regarding the reactivation of Provincial Technical Education and Skills Development Committee (PTESDC)
The PTESDC is the integrating body for all TVET-related concerns at the provincial level to ensure policy coherence. It shall serve as the review/advisory body of the TESDA Board and shall be the focal body on provincial TVET matters.
The creation of the Regional and Provincial TESD Committees is provided for under Section 19 and Rule V of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act (RA) No. 7796 or the TESD Act of 1994.
It states that the Provincial Governor will be the Chair, PD of TESD will be Co-Chair and the PD of MTIT is automatically a member of PTESDC representing the Government Sector. Thank you MTIT Lanao del Sur
