The MBHTE-TESD in partnership with Raheemah Weaving Peace conducted a 3 – Day Writeshop on the Development of Contextualized Competency Standard on Area-Based and Demand Driven TVET.
The program aims to validate and enhance the initial draft of core competencies written based on the series of consultation with specialists on four (4) skills area such as weaving, brass-making, sequins and beadworks and baor-making.
Apart from Raheemah and MBHTE-TESD Lanao personnel, specialists and Aleems (Islamic Scholars) from MSU KFCIAAS were invited in the writeshop to incorporate Islamic values, teachings and guidelines to develop holistic core competencies for the identified skill area.
