A memorandum of agreement to provide Bangsamoro job opportunities and trainings.

In a step that will further develop the regional manpower and creates thousands of possible job opportunities for the Bangsamoro people with in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The Technical Education and Skills Training Authority (TESDA) and Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) signed on Friday 30 October 30 2020, a memorandum of agreement for the projects within the plan to achieve the BARMM visions and to maximize the employment relevant training in securing productive Bangsamoro job-rich and sustainable growth.

According to the partnership, this will provide thousands of professional and technical opportunities in several Bangsomoro Sectors (inside and outside sectors). The collaboration between the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) will provide and enhance the targeted sectors, qualification, training, and practical experience necessary to meet this need.

The training will focus on the necessary skills required by the key sectors which include construction, agriculture crops, energy, and other operations.

MBHTE, and the partnership with TESDA, will ensure that the Bangsamoro people will have a key to the intergenerational transmission of economic advantages. It is both: The main channel for socio-economic reproduction and the avenue for social-economic mobility.

Minister of Basic, Higher and Technical Education Mohagher Iqbal also emphasized that the collaboration is considered as one of the main factors in uplifting poverty gradually here in the BARMM region. The Ministry will continue to work hand-in-hand with TESDA which will provide an opportunity for the Bangsamoro people to be self-reliant, resilient, productive, developing the skills and competencies of the BARMM community, creating job opportunities, developing and qualifying the owner’s crafts and talents, enhancing the spirit of community participation, and forming a partnership with other institutions.

Transforming the dynamics of patterns gradually for inequalities among the BARMM communities is also the best key driver for social and income mobility. A part of achieving the moral governance vision in uplifting the Bangsamoro people.
