FIRST BANGSAMORO YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
The MBHTE-TESD Maguindanao was invited to participate as guest speaker on the FIRST YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT yesterday September 28, 2021 held at Amas Capitol Gymnasium, Kidapawan City.
Khominie Abas, MBHTE-TESD Maguindanao Provincial Scholarship Focal responded to the commitment on skills training that can be availed by the participants. He also emphasized the TESD’s programs and services that can help and encourage the youth to avail scholarship on Technical Vocational, Education and Training. TESD’s services can help the young people to prevent them from being recruited in any organization that could ruin their future.
The youth training was participated by a total of 150 participants. The agenda of the acitivity were aligned to the goverment’s agenda in Preventing and Countering violent extremism. This will further be sustained by organizing the youth to be proactive in the campaign against violent extremist that will help create peaceful communities.
The participants came from the different municipalities of North Cotabato. Specifically, Pigcawayan cluster, Midsayap clusters 1&2, Pikit clusters 1,2 and 3, Carmen cluster and Kabacan cluster. Each group had a stage presentation portraying their needs and concerns on their area.
Let us help prevent violent extremism and terrorism. Let us promote technical skills training to our hopeless countrymen especially the youth.
